One of the biggest orchestras of modern Russia, "The Globalis" philarmonic orchestra for the 5 years (since the day of its foundation) has been one of the leaders in the field of classical music. Producer center of "The Globalis" philharmonic orchestra was founded in 2002 and now it is going to present you the following projects:
"The Russian Walz" - the CD in the pipeline offers you to enjoy masterpieces of Russian composer school. The Walzes of P.Chaykovsky, R.Glier, А.Glazunov, М.Glinka, I.Dunaevsky played by "The Globalis" philharmonic orchestra will give pleasure to the most demanding classical music lovers.
"MUSICfffILMS" - authors' versions of the most popular opera arias. The stars of Russian opera - Pavel Paremuzov (G. Vishnevskaya Opera centre), Andrey Vylegazhin ("Gelicon-opera " Moscow, Prazhskaya opera"), Oksana Lesnichnaya (G. Vishnevskaya Opera centre, Moscow Boris Pokrovsky little theatre, Italian opera) and "The Globalis" philharmonic orchestra soloistsи. Author of the project - famous Russian composer; conductor, the author of several international projects - Alexander Lavrov.
Elena Kuz'mina - "Cold Jazz Lady" - Russian Honoured artist, prize-winner of several international competitions and festivals. She is postgraduate twice - piano class and vocal class. She appears on many scenes as in Russia, as abroad, solo and accompanied by different bands.. She is in expert in all the genres - classical, romance, jazz, soul, rhythm-blues and popular music. Elena Kuz'mina is famous not only as a singer, but as a composer, she has contracts with "CSN"(Switzerland) and "Sonaton" (Germany). She composes music by requests of the Department of Culture and Russian President's administration. She practices teaching profession - she is the director of variety vocal department in the State Academy of Slavic Culture. She is a member of international college at all the competitions that are held within Russian and CIS borders.
Marimba is an instrument which originated in Africa. It's a wooden relative to xylophone incorporating in its sound the ethnic shades and extraordinary timbre power, which is capable to touch any listener. The group unites in its style the elements of jazz, ethnic music and contemporary chamber pieces. This stylistic cocktail is able to satisfy the taste of any music gourmet. Here we witness the interpenetration of ethnic traditionalism with academic symphonism and jazz improvisation.
"Marimba plus" - uncovers a mysterious world of music images, makes us plunge into the ethno-jazz mystery, which surrounds the listener, and enchants him by meditative richness. Marimba Plus also performs the works by contemporary Russian (Gorsky, Lakhuti, Shilkloper) as well as foreign ((R.Galliano, L. Schifrin, H.Silver) composers in original arrangements, written for the special set of instruments. The unique, energetic performance of the group leads the listeners to real delight. The combination of classical instruments makes the music acquire classical sound while the saxophone solos, the rhythmic parts of the contrabass and percussion add the jazz drive. And all this is intertwined with the mild sound of marimba.

Russian music is one of the most significant parts of the world's culture; it's our resplendence, our pride, our consolation and our salvation in our need. It would have never become as it is, if one century and a half ago its development and flowering basis hadn't been provided and its roots hadn't been strengthened. Its roots now are hidden from contemporaries' eyes, but they feed contemporary music till now, tomorrow men of talent will grow out of them - the future keepers of eternal traditions of the world-wide known miracle that is called Russian music.
Romanovs' grand princely family is also to be praised for this magnificence, for this universal glory.
We are glad to present you such forgotten names as Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna, Grand Duke Constantine Nikolaevich, Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna, Great Duke Constantine Constantinovich. These names have been crossed out of the music history.
Along with great Russian composers' music you are going to listen to the unknown music written by the Imperial Family members, that had never been played before. Their compositions have been kept in the depositaries for the long time. This music sounds as the testimony of the fact that formerly Russian art was supported, developed and pampered by not just respectable and educated, but talented and completely devoted to it people.
